BMS Patient Connect is a direct-to-patient platform offering eligible U.S. patients a significantly reduced price on prescription drugs manufactured by Bristol Myers Squibb.

There is no additional cost to participate in BMS Patient Connect itself. You are only responsible for the cost of the medication and additional taxes and fees that may apply.

Ultimately, insurance plans and pharmacy benefit managers determine what patients pay out of pocket for their medication—based on their insurance coverage and health plan. By offering BMS medications directly to patients at significantly reduced prices, we continue to prioritize access to our medicines, and provide an additional, lower-cost option for patients who are uninsured or self-paying.  

Yes, the medication you receive through BMS Patient Connect is the same medication you would receive from your regular pharmacy.

BMS Patient Connect Pharmacy works with CoverMyMeds Pharmacy Network. Prescriptions sent into 
BMS Patient Connect are fulfilled through the CoverMyMeds Pharmacy network, where licensed pharmacists manage prescription fulfillment and deliver to customers throughout the country. 

BMS Patient Connect is intended for adult patients (18 years old and over) in the United States, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands with an FDA-approved indication for their medication, who do not have insurance or would like to self-pay (or pay out of pocket).

No. When purchasing medication through BMS Patient Connect, you are choosing to self-pay (or pay out of pocket) rather than use insurance. If you have insurance and fulfill your prescription through BMS Patient Connect, your transaction will process outside of any insurance. Patient payments will not count toward any deductibles and cannot be applied to a patient’s maximum out-of-pocket costs. Patients and prescribers cannot seek reimbursement, from health insurance or any third party, for any medication received by the patient through BMS Patient Connect. Your doctor must provide your prescription to BMS Patient Connect electronically (ERX NCPDP: 3693974, NPI: 1932060993), by phone (1-866-526-7107) or by fax (1-833-305-3075).

After your prescription is received, you will get a text message from BMS Patient Connect with a link to the online Patient Portal, where you will: 

• Confirm your identity and create your account (you will also get a verification email from BMS Patient Connect to verify your email address before creating a password) 
• Fill out your health profile
• Manage your fill requests for medication orders
• Enter your shipping and payment information

Once your Patient Portal is set up and you have placed your order, your prescription will be shipped directly to you.

If you have already confirmed your identity and created an account, you can login to your Patient Portal at any time.

BMS Patient Connect will intake your prescription and text you a welcome message for you to start onboarding into your portal to place your order for a fill of your medication. If you didn’t receive a text, call your provider to confirm your prescription has been sent to the BMS Patient Connect NPI/NCPDP.

Your prescription must be sent directly from your HCP to BMS Patient Connect. Ask your HCP to send a new prescription to BMS Patient Connect electronically (ERX NCPDP: 3693974, NPI: 1932060993), by phone (1-866-526-7107) or by fax (1-833-305-3075).

If you need a refill of your medication, you must log in to the Patient Portal to request that the refill be sent, as it is not an automatic process. If you do not have any refills left on your prescription in the portal, contact your HCP to send a new prescription to BMS Patient Connect.

Acceptable payment options are debit card or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, or Discover). Patients should check the terms of their FSA or HSA account to determine whether reimbursement is available through those accounts. If it is, an FSA/HSA card can be used at checkout.

Once your prescription is processed, your medication will be shipped directly to your home via ground shipping. When placing your order, it is important to validate your address to ensure the pharmacy has the most accurate address on file.

Once your prescription has been processed, it will take 3 to 5 days to receive it via ground shipping.

Yes, you will receive an email from BMS Patient Connect when your order ships that includes a tracking number.  The tracking number is also available in the Patient Portal for you to follow your shipment status once your medication has been processed. You will also receive an email once your medication has been delivered.

Yes, you will receive an email reminder to refill your prescription, and available refills will be visible within the Patient Portal.

Call BMS Patient Connect, Monday through Friday [9 am to 8 pm ET at 1-866-526-7107], to answer questions related to your order or delivery. If you would like to talk to a pharmacist for clinical support, please call this number between 9 am and 5 pm ET to be transferred. 

Yes, you will be able to stop using BMS Patient Connect at any time. You may stop refilling your prescription through the Patient Portal to discontinue.  Always speak to your healthcare provider before stopping any medication.
